The Springwater Public Library Local History Collection is a project undertaken by staff at the Springwater Township Public Library. We hope to provide a resource where everyone can upload and access the unique heritage of the Springwater Township. This Local History Collection aims to showcase the diverse heritage of all areas of Springwater. The Collection currently has both print materials and photographs from throughout the history of Springwater prior to and after its amalgamation in 1994.

We hope that the Local History Collection continues to grow and becomes even more diverse as time goes on. We need the community’s help to make the Local History Collection the best it can be! If you have anything you think would be an asset to the Collection then please do not hesitate to contact us. If you have any donations of physical materials, they can be brought to any library branch and we will digitize and keep the materials in the library. If you would like to keep your physical materials, we can digitize them using our professional scanner and ensure the original gets back to you. As well, you can email elenna.bailey@springwater.ca with a high quality

copy for us to add to the Collection.

Lastly, you can go to the website contribute.vitacollections.ca/springwaterlocalhistory/contribute/upload/ to upload your story or materials.
